Do any of you have extra Regency era costume items you would like to loan to new members or visiting people?  Occasionally new people feel they can’t attend because they have nothing to wear.   We wonder what items and sizes people have that they might be able to loan.  Please comment here below if you are willing to share.

I have a few dresses I could loan as well as some bonnets, reticules and parasols.

I have some plus sized but petite in length pelisse that could go over a basic dress, small hand sized gloves, and many, many Pashmina or Pashmina like wraps and turban scarves.

  3. Agnes says:

That is great Sara – any one else with things to share?

  4. Angel B says:

I have several dresses and accessories that I would be willing to loan out to those in need. I wear a size 12-14 in modern clothing and am 5’10” for sizing inquiries.
Also, I have some mens clothes, but he is 6’3″ and wears a XXL in modern clothing. Size 44×34 in jeans.

  5. Amanda G says:

I have a couple dresses I can loan. A ball gown and some pelisses to go over a petticoat. I’m 5’3″ so on the petite side, dress size is 12. It’s been a while since a bought modern clothes I wear a medium large I think.

  6. Mari says:

I have a few day dresses and a sleeveless open robe I am happy to loan. I am 5’7 and wear a 6-8 in off the rack clothing.

Are we to keep the loaners and wait to be contacted, or are we storing them somewhere?

Everyone should hold onto their loaner garments for now as we have no group storage space. We hope to just be able to connect people who need to borrow garments with folks who have garments to loan. Thanks Mari!
