is pleased to invite you to register and attend a
Seaside Retreat at Fort Casey Inn

September 8, 9 and 10, 2023

 

We will be staying in the lovely old Fort Casey Inn on Whidbey Island. Accommodations are in the houses once used by the Non-commissioned Officers and their families stationed at the Fort. These lovely old houses feature large verandas, a sitting room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Bedrooms may be booked for one or two people. Many rooms have more than one bed. Dinner and breakfast will be served in Garrison Hall which is located adjacent to the houses.

 

 

Registration for WRS members only begins on Monday, July 17, 2023.

WRS Member price for ONE person (single bedroom in a shared house) is $400.

WRS Member price for TWO people (shared room for 2 in a shared house) is $554.

Both attendees must be members

Members arrange for and specify their own roommates

People sharing a room must request a queen bedroom or a room with two individual  beds.

Attendees may request with whom they want to share a house, however there is no  guarantee that all requests can be honored.

Attendees may request the HOUSE they would prefer. Houses 1 through 6 and 10 are available. House 10 (the Doctor’s house)  is a stand alone house. Eagles Nest (9) is also available but is intended for members with mobility or other disability issues.

Please be ready to notify WRS of any dietary restrictions when you register.

WRS will have full use of Garrison Hall which is next to the houses. Breakfast and dinner will be served there each day. Lunch is on your own, but each unit and Garrison Hall have a basic furnished kitchen.

There will be activities offered, as always. A full list will be forthcoming. However, so far here are some things already planned:

• Evening bonfire event on the beach (weather permitting)
• Water coloring session with supplies provided
• Millinery shop set up in one of the houses

If any space is still available, registration for people who are not WRS members will open on July 31 and will be $440 for singles and $580 for doubles.

Sales are closed as we turned in the final numbers on the morning of August 24.  If you would like to be on a list for substitutes in case someone has to cancel please send us an email to one of the addresses above.

WRS REFUND POLICY 

(This policy was adopted on 5/7/17) 

• Deposits or full amount must be received by the published deadline which is 30 days prior to the event unless otherwise specified.

(FOR THIS 2023 RETREAT THE DEADLINE IS AUGUST 8, 2023)

• If the minimum number of people do not sign up by the deadline, the event will be canceled, and money refunded.

• If an attendee cancels after the published deadline, no refund will be made.

• Attendance is transferable but the purchaser is responsible for finding a substitute.
