A lovely way to experience the peaceful environment of the Gardens (even in potentially inclement weather!)
Gather at the Wagner House inside the Lakewold Gardens property at 11 am promptly on Sunday July 16.
The cost is 15 dollars per person payable to WRS (we will be paying Lakewold in advance for this event as is required.) Fee includes admission to the gardens, coffee, hot chocolate or tea, and other light refreshments. We will receive a presentation by a trained docent featuring the highlights & history of Lakewold Gardens and a behind the scenes tour. This is not a garden tour, per se, but you may choose to tour the garden on your own after the presentation.
You are welcome to bring along a personal picnic to enjoy after the presentation anywhere on the grounds of Lakewold Gardens. (We will not be sharing a potluck type picnic as that is no longer allowed. Please bring only what you will need for yourself and your party.)
For those who will not be able to attend the presentation at 11 o’clock, the gardens are open to the public this day; you can come as an independent visitor, pay your own admission fees directly to them, and join us later that day.
